Bat World Sanctuary is proud to announce we are the recipient of a grant that allows us to offer 12 training scholarships to persons interested in captive management and/or medical maintenance of bats in WNS-affected areas.
Scholarships cover two weeks of hands-on training at Bat World Sanctuary's headquarters in Mineral Wells, Texas. Room and breakfast is included. Training will cover housing, husbandry, orphan care, nutrition, and medical care of native insectivorous bats.

Preference will be given to applicants that are working with active or proposed captive colonies established to combat the spread of White Nose Syndrome.
