About the Conference

The Western Bat Working Group is pleased to bring you the 2011 Western Bat Working Group Biennial Meeting and Bats and Wind Energy Workshop at the Green Valley Ranch Resort, Spa and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The Western Bat Working Group Biennial Meeting will be held 3–6 April 2011 beginning with an opening reception on Sunday evening and concluding with a half–day workshop on Wednesday, 6 April.

The Bats and Wind Energy Workshop will begin on Wednesday afternoon, 6 April immediately following the Western Bat Working Group Biennial Meeting, and conclude Friday, 8 April.

The combined conference will feature 5 days of contributed scientific papers, posters, invited speakers, a workshop, and special activities. Abstracts Due Date: 13 February 2011. All conference activities, including the opening reception, workshop, paper and poster sessions, business meeting, and banquet will take place at the Green Valley Ranch Resort, Spa and Casino. A special evening event during the Bats and Wind Energy Workshop (including a nocturnal equipment demo and catered BBQ dinner) will be held off–site on Thursday evening, 7 April at Spring Mountain Ranch State Park.
